These extraordinary sparkling wines are made from grapes grown on the famous Crimean peninsula, which offers superb soil and one of the best growing climates in the world. 

 

They are crafted by Artemivske Winery, reputed to be the finest winery of the region. Over half of the production is exported to over 20 countries – with Germany the #1 market.

 

It is one of the few “double-fermented” wines from the region.   Double fermentation is the method used by the finest French Champagne houses.  Many wineries claim to use this method but few age and double ferment their wines as long as Krimsekt…over 3 years for whites and 16 months for reds.
